The "Dorcas Gate Scam" is a 419 Scam, based in Nigeria, A letter or Instant Message is sent to you, A person saying they are Dorcas Gate, tells people she is dieing of cancer, has a short time to live and needs a christian to inherit her 20 million dollars to continue in the Lord's work, She says she has no family and asked for your email, once email is given, she sends a long letter about God, and how she wants "A Christian" to carry on God's work with her money and a lawyer's name and email, who you should contact right away, to finalize paperwork for you and her. She gives you her Attorney's Website link to you... Later on after contacting the Attorney, He using the name of John Peter Faye David, contacts u and after several emails, ask for an "Advance Fee" of 575.00 to cover the fees because things have changed since 9-11...... website--FAKE- lawoffice---fake-- Dorcas Gate and John Peter Faye David---FAKE....... I have traced the website to a host in Herdon Virigina, Traced the Attroney with a name of a person in Florida...

THESE CRIMINALS SEEM TO BE TARGETING CHRISTIANS....... BEWARE OF THIS CURRENT SCAM!!!!

Dear Friend,

I am Mr. Joseph Amadi, credit officer of Union bank of Nigerial. I have a confidential business proposition for you.On June 6, 1999, an australian Oil consultant contractor with the with the federal government of Nigeria and resides here in Nigeria until his death, Mr. Morris Thompson made a numbered time (Fixed) Deposit for twelve calendar months, valued at US$16,000,000.00 (sixteen Million Dollars only) in my branch.

Upon maturity, I sent a routine notification to his forwarding address but got no reply. After a month, we sent a reminder and finally we discovered from his contract employers, that Mr. Morris Thompson died in aghastly plane crash February 4th, 2000. On further investigation, I found out that he died without making a WILL and all attempts to trace his next of kin were fruitless.

I therefore made further investigation and discovered that Mr. Morris Thompson did not declare any next of kin or relations in all his official documents, including his Bank Deposit paperwork in my Bank.

This sum of US$16,000,000.00 is still sitting in my Bank and the interest is being rolled over with the principal sum at the end of each year. No one will ever come forward to claim it. According to Laws of my country's government, at the expiration of 6(six) years, the money will revert to the ownership of the Government if nobody applies to claim the fund.
